5 Minute Quarantine Recipes with our Cookie Shots!



Not gonna lie, I’m guilty of some online shopping sprees 

...and I just bought my own personal blender 😍

I have no cooking/baking cell in my body, but ya girl has to save money by eating more at home this Quarantine season.

Plus, I want to post more cooking videos on TikTok 😅

The Dirty Cookie is known for their beloved Chocolate Chip, Cookies N’ Cream and Red Velvet assortment of Cookie Shots. 

But what makes these Cookie Shots special is how customizable and personal they are ❗❗

~ SO LET ME CUT TO THE CHASE ~

I got so excited getting my new blender that I looked up a bunch of DIY recipes (vegan & non vegan) that go great as fillings for the Cookie Shots.

...And lucky you, I’ll share these 5 minute filling recipes with you here!

 

~ SO HERE WE GO ~

1. CHOCOLATE BANANA MILKSHAKE

This would go really well with the Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot. 

This milkshake is very thick and creamy, and you can use a non-dairy option as the liquid. All you gotta do is blend these 5 ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond/oat/dairy milk

  • 1 TB. of raw cacao powder

  • ½ tsp. Of cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. Of vanilla


2. VEGAN CHOCOLATE PUDDING

This would go well with the Double Chocolate Vegan Cookie Shot - ya know just this pudding is rather light and it goes well with the chocolatey-ness of the Cookie Shot. 

  • 1 Cup Non dairy (almond, oat, hemp) 

  • 2- 3 TB. of cocoa powder 

  • 2 - 3 TB of maple syrup

  • ¼ cup Chia Seeds

Just mix all four ingredients, transfer the pudding into a bowl and let it sit in the fridge for 15 minutes. Then you’re ready to go!


3. VEGAN COCONUT PUDDING

Coming right back at ya with another pudding recipe! Since this one uses cornstarch, it does require some cooking time - but definitely worth it. This would pair well with the Churro Cookie Shot because the sweetness and nuttyness of the coconut just pairs well with that cinnamon churro flavor. 

  • 1 ½ cups coconut milk

  • ⅔ cup powdered sugar

  • ⅓ cup cornstarch

  • 1 tsp.vanilla

  • Optional - mint leaves or strawberry to garnish

Heat the coconut milk, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla; use a Whisk to stir the mixture constantly for 6-8 minutes. Then Voila!

4. VEGAN CUSTARD

Now this was interesting - I never had custard before, but luckily I found this vegan recipe! This requires some cooking time, but again totally worth it. I would pair this with our Matcha Cookie Shot because custard’s relatively neutral flavor and the creamyness would just pair well with the contrasting vibrant flavor of matcha.

  • 1 Cup full fat Coconut Milk

  • 2 TB of cornstarch

  • ½ tsp. Of agar agar

  • ½ tsp of turmeric

  • 4 TB. of maple syrup

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

Whisk together in a saucepan the coconut milk, cornstarch, agar agar, and tumeric into the saucepan till there’s no clumps. Then pour the vanilla and maple syrup in, letting it set in the fridge for 10 minutes. Once it’s done, scoop into the cookie shot and decorate with a raspberry for aesthetic :)

 

Now… since Cheesecake is so fricken good I’ll share two cheesecake filling recipes for the vegan and nonvegan options.

5. CLASSIC CHEESECAKE FILLING

You can’t go wrong with the classic cheesecake flavor, but pair it with our Red Velvet Cookie Shot and it’s to die for! It’s a simple and classy dessert that only needs you to blend 3 ingredients:

  • Two 8 oz. packages of cream cheese

  • 1 Cup sugar

  • 1 Cup milk 


6. VEGAN CHEESECAKE FILLING

I’ve never had vegan cream cheese before, but if you can’t find vegan cream cheese you can always substitute with a nut paste. Just like how we paired our nonvegan cream cheese filling with the classic red velvet cookie shot, you can pair this vegan cheesecake filling with another favorite - our Cookies N’ Cream Cookie Shot. Easy recipe where all you gotta do is beat the cream cheese first till smooth and then add all the other ingredients to blend - that’s it!

  • 32 oz. Vegan Cream Cheese

  • 1 ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 4 TB of cornstarch

  • 2 tsp of vanilla

  • 3 TB of lemon juice

We take each day of this quarantine counting our blessings and trying to make the most out of this situation.
